As if I needed another space to write, I've decided to give Leaflet a shot.
I already have multiple microblogging accounts, all of which are bridged and available across ecosystems. I also have my macroblog at augment.ink, where I write longer essays.
So what's this space for? I'm not quite sure yet, but it's likely to be an extension of what I already do on augment, just on a smaller scale. So, not microblogging or macroblogging, but...midblogging?
I love the user experience, the way highlight sharing works, and, of course, the ATProto integration. In short, I'm using Leaflet because the whole package makes me want to use it. That doesn't happen often for me.
What I'd like to see next:
Email support (they're working on it!)
Import/export from other blogging platforms
@mentions
More theming options (but that risks bloat, so I would understand the hesitation)
All that said, I think Leaflet has a bright future, and I'm excited to use it as it continues to evolve π
